The Three Most Common Types of HD Radiator
- Bolt-on, which has steel tanks bolted onto the core and gaskets between them to prevent leakage.
- Plastic tank / aluminum core, which are primarily used to help lower the weight of the truck.
- The more traditional style of copper core with brass tanks soldered to it.
